Bio

With 15 years as a professional rugby player, my foundation has always been strength conditioning. Hypertrophy was the base building the engine and armour first before progressing into maximal strength, power and plyometric work. In the gym it was about developing force. On the field it was about expressing it.

Rugby demands everything lift, sprint, jump, throw, pull, push and carry. You cannot excel in just one quality. You must be highly competent across them all. In many ways, rugby players were hybrid athletes long before the term became popular.

After retiring, I threw myself into different training modalities CrossFit, HIIT, bodybuilding and Olympic lifting to expand my mindset and understanding. Each discipline taught me something different about structure, intensity and adaptation.

Now my approach blends the best of those experiences with solid S&C principles. Build muscle. Develop strength. Express power. Move well. Stay athletic. Training is not just about performance, it is about longevity and becoming more capable in every area of life.
