Bio

I'm a strength coach, HYROX athlete and menopause coach. My fitness journey didn't begin until my 40s, proving it's never too late to discover what you're capable of. After almost 30 years as a school teacher, I found strength training—and it completely changed my confidence, mindset and outlook on life.

Since then I've gone on to compete in multiple HYROX events, obstacle races and fitness competitions, while helping hundreds of women discover that strength is about so much more than how you look.

As a coach, my approach combines functional strength, hybrid training and sustainable fitness. Whether I'm coaching clients, running classes or training for my next HYROX event, I'm passionate about helping people become stronger, move better and build confidence that lasts far beyond the gym.

I believe everyone deserves to feel capable in their own body, and that great equipment should support that journey. For me, training is about consistency, challenging yourself and enjoying the process not chasing perfection.

Olympic Barbell - "My Northern Olympic bar is probably the piece of equipment I use more than anything else. It's incredibly solid, fantastic value for money and has become the centrepiece of both my own training and the sessions I coach every week."
