I love a combination of training methods but primarily my training is focussed around strength training whilst also dipping my toes into Hyrox sessions.

Bio

Although I’ve always led a healthy and active lifestyle through sport, competitively in Hockey and Football, my fitness journey really began when I got my first job in teaching. I found myself needing a real outlet and focus for after work hours.

I joined a gym and started getting into ‘body pump’ and ‘met con’ initially. I began to absolutely love the way it made me feel and I then decided to strength train using free weights and resistance machines on my own in the gym, alongside attending the classes. 

I built knowledge and understanding of strength training and started to see real results. For the first time I actually felt confident in my body and a real sense of achievement. Both my physical and mental transformations were noticeable. 

Fast forward to now, I train 5 times per week in the gym. I’ve developed the ability to use compound lifts in my training and have made real progress. I lift for enjoyment and empowerment, inspiring other women to do the same!
