Bio

I started up CrossFit at the age of 9, influenced by my dad and then did that competitively until I was 15. I always enjoyed the lifting side to CrossFit so often did extra sessions to train that.

At 16, I fell out of love with CrossFit and began focusing on Olympic Weightlifting, which opened many doors. I won the English Championships 2 years in a row and was selected for the GB Youth Squad for 2 consecutive years, travelling abroad with the team.

When it comes to approaching training, I like to make it fun. Many people view exercise as a chore but I like to view it as an opportunity for growth, not only in the sport but as a person too.

I like to set myself goals which helps me keep on track of my progress. I believe that is more rewarding than anything, especially when I notice an improvement. Training doesn’t have to be boring, so make sure to include exercises that are enjoyable to make it fun.
