Having bought numerous makes of kettlebells over the past year, trying to find a decent shaped one at a good price. I had given up. Then I found ‘Northern’. I wish I had known about them sooner. Their kettlebells are the perfect shape and size. Those who use them will know how important that is. The grip is fantastic for all exercises. Easy to grasp when switching between hands. They’ve made training much more fun and easier. I’m gaining strength at increasing over 2kg per month in all exercises. I wasn’t doing this prior Northern as the kettlebells I used were just too bulky.
Northern kettlebells take up less than half the space the other brands were taking.

I bought 8kg, 12kg, and 16kg kettlebells, the 8 and 12 are perfect but the 16kg came with a dent/chip and surrounding the dent is what looks like the remains of a sticker that was removed. I thought, two out of three isn't too bad. Apart from that, no complaints, the delivery was fine, and so was the packaging. I'm quite sure I'll order again when I need to.

Terrible customer service. Terrible damaged products - stay clear

Already owning northerns 4,6,8,12,16 and 20KG kettlebells and being super impressed with the quality and finish I purchased the 24 to complete the set.
The finish is terrible, the painting is shocking and there are multiple sharp shards sticking out on the handle. This shows a clear lack of quality control.
I did send an email to northern who agreed with me that the item they sent me was sub standard and offered a return and replacement, but by the time they had received and inspected my return then processed and sent a replacement it would be too late for what I actually needed it for.
Left me really disappointed and unsure if I’ll use northern again.

Ordered a set of Kettlebells and after a week messaged them to say the haven’t arrived, then said they will send some more out which never materialised , then said they were delivered, they were not.
Absolute waste of time, no refund and no kettlebells.

I ordered these after returning a set of Taurus vinyl coated cast iron kettlebells, that were just a terrible design. And these cast iron bells from Northern Gym Equipment are far superior, I just love everything about them. The quality is great, you get exactly what it says on the tin, the design in terms of handle thickness and space between handle and bell is in the correct range, unlike the Taurus bells I returned, and best of all, they came at an amazing price. I also had a 20% discount on top which really put the cherry on the top.
They work well for all main movements like swings, snatches, cleans, squats, etc. And I couldn't recommend them enough!

The kettlebells are good, smooth surface, the packaging and delivery is another matter which brought the rating down. Bought 3 bells all meant to be delivered by Evri and had this notification. I then got a notification from DHL which I thought was a scam (emailed northern and all they gave me gave was Evri tracking info) but came home to find my parcel. Was quite concerned as two bells had been taped together so the poor delivery guy had to man handle 22kg in a small odd shaped package. I then had to split the bells to get them upstairs to my flat. The 3rd bell was delivered by Evri but the packaging had broken 10kg bell and someone had wrapped in parcel tape so not secure. Very disappointed really and still can't understand why two bells were strapped together.

Perfect for me to get started with

Ordered a couple of kettlebells. Arrived timely though separately to each other. These are quality solid cast iron kettlebells with traditional ergonomic handles unlike some that are filled to weight making the bell imbalanced.
Already referred others to Northern and when renovation work at home is complete I’ll be ordering a few more bits so I can achieve a good workout at home on days I can’t get to the gym.

Great as a small weight used for warmup, speedy delivery. Ordered with heavier weights and all turned up at the same time and within expected time frames. Easy to identify which weight is which with the coloured bands.

Upgrading from vinyl to a cast irol kettlebell completely changed my workout —better grip and the compact sizing makes my movements smoother.
Very quick delivery.
Good value.

Bought the 18kg kettlebell as something to aim for in the near future, 16kg first though!
